Contract Shelter Operations Manager

Homes First is seeking a highly skilled Contract Shelter Operations Manager to oversee shelter operations at multiple locations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of residents, managing staff, and implementing shelter policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shelter Operations Oversight: Oversee day-to-day shelter operations, ensuring a safe and secure environment for residents.
- Staff Management: Manage and support shelter staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
- Crisis Intervention: Provide crisis intervention and support to residents, ensuring their needs are met and they receive the necessary support.
- Policy Implementation: Implement and enforce shelter policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and consistency across all locations.
- Community Resource Knowledge: Possess knowledge of community resources, providing residents with access to necessary services and support.
Requirements:
- Previous Experience: Previous experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success in shelter operations management.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, residents, and community partners.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
