We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automotive Lube Technician to join our team at The 401 Group of Companies. As a key member of our service team, you will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to vehicle maintenance and repair, including lubricating moving parts, inspecting and replacing tires, and performing other related duties.
Key Responsibilities- Perform lubrication services on vehicle engines to prevent premature wear and ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect and replace tires as needed, including checking tread levels, wear patterns, and valve quality.
- Repair punctures and replace faulty valves.
- Install new tires and balance them to ensure even wear.
- Perform wheel alignment procedures and lubricate wheel bearings to prevent excessive tire wear.
- Perform engine cleanings to prevent rust formation and replace cabin, fuel, air, and oil filters as required.
- Perform tire rotations to ensure even tire wear and test tire pressure as needed.
- Ensure the shop is clean and tidy and perform other tasks as required by management.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Post-secondary education in lube technician program or equivalent experience.
- Proven experience in automotive maintenance and repair.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Valid G driver's license and acceptable driving record.
