Key Responsibilities:
- Strategic Roadmap: Develop, define, and track various insurance portfolio initiatives, highlighting key dependencies in partnership with Transformation Partners.
- Intake Support: Provide support on intake of new initiatives across the portfolio, ensuring the business adheres to the Aviva Change Framework.
- Insurance Transformation Forum: Create and maintain regular status and pack for the monthly Transformation Forum, detailing project dependencies, status, risks, and achievements.
- Stakeholder Communication: Act as a communication bridge between project teams, the TMO, and other stakeholders, ensuring clarity and transparency in project updates and requirements.
- Risk and Issue Management: Proactively identify, document, and assist in resolving risks and issues within the project portfolio, escalating significant matters to higher management.
- Process Improvement: Contribute to enhancing TMO processes and methodologies, adopting best practices in project tracking and management.
- Change Management Support: Support the creation and execution of change management strategies to ensure organizational changes are communicated effectively and adopted smoothly.
Requirements:
- Related University Degree in IT, Finance, or Business.
- 5-8 years of project and/or portfolio delivery experience.
- Strong working knowledge of the Canadian P&C Industry and its regulatory environment.
- Strong background in Insurance, with 5+ years of experience.
- Strong program management background and a deep understanding of the risks inherent in delivering an organizational change.
- Finance background with the ability to build and monitor business cases for projects and under cost/benefit analysis and key performance indicators.
- Demonstrated track record of developing efficient and effective processes to improve delivery and ensure goals and targets are met.
- 3+ years of industrial experience in Business Intelligence Analytics or Reporting.
- Previous experience working with senior stakeholders and in a cross-functional team environment.
- Proven ability to embrace and lead change, be highly adaptable and flexible, decisive, and display excellent judgment.
- Ability to effectively communicate and influence both orally and in writing, complicated subject matters to senior executive teams and critical business partners.
- Robust problem-solving skills, capable of identifying and addressing risks and issues, ensuring the smooth progress of transformation projects.
- A zest for a fast-moving, complex, and sometimes ambiguous workday, with the ability to juggle and prioritize work while providing timely and valuable outputs.
- Organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, adaptable, and a collaborative team player.
- Knowledge of Jira/Confluence is an asset.
- CIP is preferred but not required.
