The Royal Victoria Regional Health Centre is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Medicine Inpatient Unit team. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in accordance with our centre's philosophy, policies, and standards of care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, coordinate, and manage patient care in conjunction with an interdisciplinary team.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families to promote health and wellness.

Requirements:

  • Current Certificate of Registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Current BCLS certification.
  • Additional formal educational requirements/certifications as required in the department.
  • Membership in a professional association specific to nursing service area.
  • Computer literacy in current software applications.
