The Department of Communication and Visual Arts at Thompson Rivers University invites applications for a bipartite (teaching/service), one-year limited-term contract position in the area of Communication Studies, focusing on Public Relations.

The successful candidate must have the versatility to teach a variety of undergraduate courses in the areas of Communication, particularly in courses related to Public Relations, including Strategic Writing for Communication, Technical Communication, Introduction to Public Relations, Advanced Professional Communication, Media and Public Relations, Strategies in Crisis Communication, and Organizational Communications.

This position is subject to budgetary approval. The appointment is scheduled to commence on September 9, 2024.

QUALIFICATIONS

While a PhD or terminal degree in Communication or related field is preferred, candidates with a Master's degree and relevant industry experience will also be considered.
