Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food meets the highest standards of quality.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, as well as provide ongoing coaching and feedback to ensure they are meeting the required standards.
- Estimate and Manage Inventory: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation and manage inventory levels to ensure that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
- Manage Budget and Cost Estimates: Prepare budget and cost estimates for food, supplies, and labor, ensuring that we are operating within our financial parameters.
- Maintain Records and Reports: Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, as well as prepare regular reports to management on restaurant performance.
- Establish Work Schedules: Establish work schedules for staff, ensuring that we have adequate coverage during peak periods and that staff are working efficiently and effectively.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service environment.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and ability to maintain accurate records and reports.
