Job Title: Framer-Carpenter

Liam Construction Fort McMurray Ltd is seeking a skilled Framer-Carpenter to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Framer-Carpenter to work on various construction projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for measuring, cutting, shaping, assembling, and joining materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Measure and cut materials to precise specifications
  • Assemble and join materials to create complex structures
  • Install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
  • Schedule and coordinate work on sites
  • Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the trade
  • Permanent employment
  • 32 hours per week
  • English language proficiency
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in various locations, including residential and commercial sites. The work will be physically demanding, requiring bending, crouching, and kneeling.
