Job Title: Cleaner

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at the Canadian College of Business, Science & Technology. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our students, faculty, and staff.

Responsibilities:
  • Clean and disinfect all areas of the college, including offices, classrooms, and common areas.
  • Sweep, mop, and polish floors.
  • Dust and clean furniture and fixtures.
  • Vacuum and clean carpets, rugs, and upholstered furniture.
  • Empty trash and recycling bins.
  • Restock supplies and materials.
  • Perform other cleaning tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience in cleaning or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Physical ability to lift and move heavy objects.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Work Environment:

The Cleaner will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work independently and as part of a team. The Cleaner will be expected to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality at all times.

Language:

The primary language of work is English.

Hours of Work:

The Cleaner will work 30 to 40 hours per week.

Security and Safety:

The Cleaner will be required to undergo a criminal record check and will be expected to maintain a high level of security and safety at all times.
