About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cabinetmaker to join our team at Diamond View Kitchens. As a Cabinetmaker, you will be responsible for creating high-quality cabinets and furniture pieces that meet our customers' expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Study plans, specifications, and drawings to create custom cabinet and furniture pieces
  • Operate computer-aided design (CADD) software and other computer systems to design and plan projects
  • Trim joints and fit parts together to form complete units and reinforce joints
  • Sand wooden surfaces and apply veneer, stain, or polish to finished products
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Estimate costs and materials for projects
Requirements
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in cabinetmaking or a related field
  • Permanent employment
  • English language proficiency
  • 40 hours per week
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to stand for extended periods. The ideal candidate will be able to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs) and work in a team environment.
