About the Role

As a member of the Organizational Effectiveness team at 09 Irving Oil Limited, you will play a key role in leading the development and execution of training plans related to enterprise-level change initiatives and business line technical training. This will involve creating high-quality learning programs that impact business outcomes and employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Senior OE Specialists in analyzing and assessing current-state and desired-state organizational designs and business processes to improve organizational effectiveness aligned to strategy.
  • Contribute to OE activities related to organizational design, team effectiveness, process enhancements, and change management, including research of best practices, document preparation, and project team participation.
  • Assess change impact through impact analyses, stakeholder engagement plans, and assessing change readiness, developing ways to prepare, equip, and support employees and leaders to successfully adopt change.
  • Coordinate efforts with other groups, including HR Business Partners, Communications, and Training teams, in the delivery and execution of organizational effectiveness and change projects.
  • Lead small to medium-scale organizational effectiveness initiatives and provide support to Senior Organizational Effectiveness Specialists or Senior Manager on medium to large-scale initiatives.
Requirements
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to prioritize and deliver against key priorities.
  • Able to work with multidisciplinary teams in a positive and productive manner.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong working knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Experience working with authoring tools such as Articulate 360.
  • Experience working in MS Teams and SharePoint would be beneficial.
  • Strong time management skills.
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common vision or goal.
  • Flexible and adaptable; able to work in ambiguous situations.
Education and Experience
  • Post-secondary education or relevant experience.
  • 3-5 years in executing learner-centric solutions through instructional design, adult education, eLearning, curriculum, and resource development.
  • Facilitation of workshops and training sessions.
  • Proficiency in eLearning development tools, such as Articulate 360.
  • Change management certification or designation an asset.
