Key Responsibilities- Conduct Biostatistical Data Analysis: Utilize computer modeling techniques to analyze and interpret complex data.
- Supervise Laboratory Personnel: Oversee and guide laboratory technical personnel, medical clinical personnel, graduate students, research scientists, and other professionals.
- Provide Expert Advice: Offer guidance to senior managers and officials on research-related matters.
- Manage Health Information Databases: Maintain, update, and manage health information databases to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Compile and Analyze Statistical Information: Gather and analyze statistical information from private and public healthcare institutions and organizations.
- Conduct Clinical or Laboratory Studies: Test, evaluate, and screen drugs, pharmaceuticals, and nanoparticles used in biomedical applications.
- Design and Implement Health and Wellness Projects: Develop and implement health and wellness projects or programs to improve patient outcomes.
- Evaluate and Assess Health Projects: Conduct evaluations and assessments of health projects and programs to ensure effectiveness.
- Coordinate Multidisciplinary Projects: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate and execute research projects.
- Education: A degree in medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, or optometry is required.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
- Computer and Technology Knowledge: Proficiency in machine learning and data analysis software is essential.
- Area of Work Experience: Professional healthcare education, health, research institute, laboratory, or centre experience is required.
- Area of Specialization: Radiation experience is an asset.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and ability to distinguish between colors are essential.
- Personal Suitability: Excellent written and oral communication skills, team player, accurate, and time management skills are required.
