- Coordinate and manage the submission of development applications, including Official Plan Amendments, Zoning Bylaw Amendments, Site Plan Applications, minor variances, and consent applications, and Plans of Subdivisions.
- Organize and lead public consultation meetings, as well as community information sessions.
- Conduct thorough research, analysis, and preparation of due diligence studies.
- Effectively manage team workload and collaborate with professionals from other disciplines.
- Coordinate, plan, schedule, and oversee the technical aspects of land development projects.
- Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, contributing to the business development efforts.
- Demonstrate professionalism and personal accountability for time management, quality control, project troubleshooting, and adherence to timelines and budget constraints.
- Hold a relevant Urban Planning degree and possess Full membership in the OPPI (or eligibility to apply).
- Possess an RPP designation or be eligible would be preferred
- 3 years of industry planning experience, ideally within a consulting environment.
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Display proficiency in office, graphics, GIS, and design computer-based applications.
- Showcase strong time management and multitasking abilities, consistently meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrate adaptability to work independently with minimal direction, as well as in collaborative teams.
- Exhibit meticulous attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
- Display a genuine passion for continuous learning and professional development.
