Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the health and appearance of lawns, gardens, and golf courses, as well as performing various landscaping tasks such as planting, pruning, and fertilizing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Estimate costs and plan for landscaping projects
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and gardens

  • Assess the health of lawns and diagnose problems and diseases in trees and shrubs
  • Direct crews who maintain the health and appearance of golf courses and their surrounding landscapes
  • Examine trees and shrubs to diagnose problems and disease
  • Plan and coordinate the growth and use of plants for landscaping, ornamental uses, and other purposes
  • Plant and maintain private and public lawns and gardens
  • Plant and move trees
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in landscaping or a related field
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and reliability
  • Ability to work in a team environment
Work Environment:

The successful candidate will work in a variety of outdoor settings, including construction sites, golf courses, and residential areas. The work environment will be physically demanding, requiring the ability to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel.
