Job Title: Manager, Membership & Fundraising Events

The Royal Conservatory is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Manager, Membership & Fundraising Events. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our organization and make a meaningful impact in the community.

Job Summary:

The Manager, Membership & Fundraising Events will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising strategy to support The Royal Conservatory's programs and services. This will include planning and executing exceptional fundraising events, managing membership programs, and building relationships with corporate partners and donors.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a fundraising strategy to meet organizational revenue objectives
  • Plan and execute fundraising events, including galas, dinners, and concerts
  • Manage membership programs, including The Conservatory Circle
  • Build and maintain relationships with corporate partners and donors
  • Develop and implement data-driven fundraising plans and strategies
  • Manage event logistics, including budgeting, sales, and volunteer coordination
  • Oversee donor communications and stewardship
  • Develop and evaluate new event ideas and initiatives
Requirements:
  • Minimum seven years of relevant experience in professional fundraising and development
  • Proven track record in event fundraising and membership programs
  • Strong negotiation and sales skills, combined with a demonstrated ability to build relationships with corporate decision-makers
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work with confidential information
  • Ability to take initiative, manage multiple projects, and thrive in a deadline-driven environment
  • Strong commitment to exceptional work quality and ethics
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a variety of stakeholders
What We Offer:

The Royal Conservatory offers a competitive salary range of $72,000 - $85,000 per annum, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for professional growth and development.
