Job Title: Printing Press Operator

EPAK INC. is seeking a skilled Printing Press Operator to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining our flexographic press, ensuring high-quality prints and efficient production processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Mount plates or cylinders and make necessary adjustments to ensure optimal print quality.
  • Filling ink fountains and controlling colour and viscosity to achieve desired results.
  • Setting up the press and operating at slow speed to check samples before proceeding with regular production.
  • Monitoring the press run for quality using the computer control console and making adjustments as needed.
  • Removing and cleaning plates and cylinders at the end of each press run.
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, standing for extended periods.
  • Excellent hand-eye coordination and attention to detail.
  • Ability to distinguish between colours and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other necessary equipment provided.
