Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Front Desk Agent to join our team at Days InnTerrace. As a Front Desk Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, handling room reservations, and ensuring a smooth and efficient check-in and check-out process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guest Registration: Register arriving guests and assign rooms, ensuring accurate and efficient processing of guest information.
  • Room Reservations: Process group arrivals and departures, take, cancel, and change room reservations as needed.
  • Guest Services: Provide information on hotel facilities and services, including amenities and local attractions.
  • Payment and Billing: Process guests' departures, calculate charges, and receive payments in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Cash Handling: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain an inventory of vacancies, reservations, and room assignments.
  • Clerical Duties: Perform various clerical tasks, including faxing, filing, and photocopying.
  • Communication: Answer telephone calls and relay messages, as well as contact customers to deliver requested wake-up calls.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, addressing guest concerns and resolving issues in a professional and courteous manner.
Work Environment and Requirements
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with a high level of guest interaction.
  • Personal Suitability: Efficient interpersonal skills, flexibility, and reliability are essential for success in this role.
  • Work Term: Permanent position with a regular schedule of 35-40 hours per week.
  • Work Language: English is the primary language spoken in this role.
