Job Title: Cook

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Montana's. As a Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Work Setting:

Our restaurant is a fast-paced environment where you will work in a team to provide excellent customer service and ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Recruit and hire staff
  • Manage kitchen operations
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

This role requires a high level of physical fitness and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work under pressure.

Personal Suitability:

We are looking for a team player who is reliable, organized, and able to work well under pressure. You will be required to have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively in a team.
