We are currently seeking a highly motivated and skilled Social Worker 2 to join our Inpatient Psychiatry team in Sechelt, BC. The ideal candidate will have a Master of Social Work from an accredited School of Social Work and at least one year of post-Baccalaureate experience in a health care setting or one year in a practicum in a related field.

This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families. As a key member of our team, you will provide clinical and consultative social work services, conducting social and psychosocial assessments and providing individual, family, and group counseling services. You will also maintain client records, attend interdisciplinary clinical/case conferences, and provide Long-Term Care assessments.

In addition to your clinical expertise, you will be responsible for identifying applicable community resources for clients and contributing to the effectiveness and development of these resources. Your strong communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to work effectively with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals to achieve positive outcomes.

The successful candidate will have current full registration with the British Columbia College of Social Workers and a strong commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
