About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced District Loss Prevention Manager to join our team at TJX Canada. As a key member of our Asset Protection department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the integrity of our stores and protecting our assets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective shrink reduction strategies to minimize losses and protect company assets.
  • Train and develop Store Management and Associates on Loss Prevention best practices and procedures.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Store Management, District Managers, and Home Office teams.
  • Collaborate with external partners, such as law enforcement and other retail companies, to share best practices and stay up-to-date on industry trends.
  • Manage budgets and expenses related to Loss Prevention initiatives, including floor walkers, audits, and other related costs.
  • Conduct thorough investigations into incidents of theft and shrinkage, and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Manage expenses related to travel, mileage, and other business-related costs.
Requirements
  • College Diploma or University Degree in a related field, such as Business Administration or Criminology.
  • Minimum three years of experience in Loss Prevention or a related field, with a proven track record of success in reducing shrinkage and protecting company assets.
  • Advanced knowledge of Loss Prevention principles and practices, including investigation techniques, interviewing skills, and conflict resolution.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to drive business results.
  • Working knowledge of CCTV applications and other security technologies.
  • Staff management skills, including recruitment, selection, and training of staff.
  • Computer skills, including word processing, spreadsheet creation, and data analysis.
