Job Summary

OAK & STONE CONSTRUCTIONS is seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schemas, and drawings to inform construction decisions.
  • Develop and manage budgets, ensuring that projects are completed within allocated resources.
  • Supervise construction workers and projects, providing guidance and support as needed.
  • Recruit and hire construction staff, and coordinate related staffing actions.
  • Recommend personnel actions to ensure the effective operation of the construction team.
  • Prepare production and other reports to inform stakeholders of project progress.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that projects are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Ensure that health and safety regulations are followed, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Coordinate and schedule construction activities, ensuring that projects are completed on time and within budget.
  • Requisition materials and supplies, ensuring that construction projects have the necessary resources to proceed.
  • Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily construction operations, ensuring that projects are completed to the highest standards.
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in construction management.
