Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Wheel Alignment and Brake Mechanic to join our team at 625865 Saskatchewan Ltd. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our commercial transport vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
  • Discuss work with supervisor
  • Review work orders and estimate parts and labor costs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service and test repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
Requirements
  • Tire, wheel, and rim mechanic certification
  • Automotive Service Technician (Transmission) Trade Certification
  • Automotive Service Technician (Steering, Suspension, and Brakes) Trade Certification
  • Motor Vehicle Repairer (Service Station Mechanic) Trade Certification
  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification
  • Truck-Trailer Repairer Trade Certification
  • Motor Vehicle Inspector Certificate
  • Driver's License (Class 1 or A)
Working Conditions

This is a fast-paced environment that requires standing for extended periods, hand-eye coordination, and attention to detail. You will be working in a garage or workshop setting with dusty, dirty, and noisy conditions.
