Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our team at Sanimax. This role offers a paid internship with the possibility of hiring after completion, providing valuable training and hands-on experience in heavy vehicle maintenance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot mechanical issues with heavy vehicles
  • Maintain hydraulic and pneumatic systems, electrical systems, and tire/brake systems
  • Install, remove, and replace differentials, as well as weld aluminum and steel components
  • Use computer diagnostic tools to identify mechanical problems
  • Perform preventive maintenance on our fleet of specialized vehicles
Requirements
  • Ongoing heavy vehicle mechanics diploma (DEP)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and resourcefulness
  • Dynamism, adaptability, autonomy, and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent physical fitness
Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Benefits include the possibility of hiring after the internship, paid internship, and comprehensive training related to the position.

Work Schedule

This role involves variable internship work hours, with potential evening shifts if hired afterward.
