Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Warehouse Technician to join our team at Wesdome Gold Mines. This is a key role that requires attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory, shipping, and receiving goods, as well as maintaining a safe and clean work environment. They will also be expected to operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage inventory levels and perform cycle counting to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinate shipping and receiving of goods, including preparing shipping documents and loading/unloading trucks.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet areas, and workstations organized.
  • Operate warehouse equipment, including pallet jacks and forklifts, safely and efficiently.
Requirements

To be eligible for this position, you must have:

  • Warehousing experience, preferably in a mining environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
  • Diligent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Significant computer skills and experience working with inventory control systems.
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • A valid driver's license in good standing.
Compensation

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits and opportunities for career growth.
