Job Title: Respite Worker

Narender Sharma is seeking a compassionate and reliable Respite Worker to provide support and care to our clients in their homes. As a Respite Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients and their families.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Respite Worker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care and support to our clients, including assistance with daily living activities, household chores, and companionship.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer bedside and personal care to clients
  • Assist clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Assist in regular exercise, such as walking
  • Feed or assist in feeding clients
  • Launder clothing and household linens
  • Mend clothing and linens
  • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Provide companionship and social interaction
  • Provide personal care and support
  • Shop for food and household supplies
  • Prepare and serve nutritious meals
  • Cook
Requirements:
  • CPR Certificate
  • First Aid Certificate
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Reliable transportation
Working Conditions:

The Respite Worker will work in a variety of settings, including clients' homes, and will be required to lift up to 80 kg (176 lbs) and stand for extended periods. The successful candidate must be physically able to perform the duties of the job and have a valid driver's license.
