As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the success of our clients by providing expert payroll management and advisory services. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the efficient operation of our payroll function, developing and maintaining administrative processes, and collaborating with stakeholders to drive process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive knowledge of payroll processes and procedures;
  • Schedule and manage payroll cycles according to established timelines;
  • Ensure accurate and timely payment of employee wages and benefits;
  • Process employee data, including changes in employment status, salary, or benefits;
  • Communicate with employees and managers to resolve payroll-related queries;
  • Participate in the implementation of new payroll systems or software;
  • Monitor and analyze payroll data to identify trends and areas for improvement;
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of payroll services;
  • Staying up-to-date with changing legislation and regulations affecting payroll;
Requirements
  • At least 8 years of experience in payroll management, preferably in a high-volume environment;
  • Proficiency in computerized payroll processing systems, especially Employer D and Workday;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail;
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English and French;
  • Membership in the National Payroll Institute;
  • Relevant academic background in accounting, administration, or a related field;
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team;
