Job Title: Shipper-Receiver

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Shipper-Receiver to join our team at Varsteel Ltd.

Job Summary:

The Shipper-Receiver will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of goods within our warehouse. This includes receiving, inspecting, and storing incoming shipments, as well as preparing and shipping outgoing orders.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Receiving and Inspecting Shipments: Verify the accuracy of incoming shipments, inspect for damage, and record any discrepancies.
  • Storing and Retrieving Inventory: Organize and maintain a clean and efficient storage area, and retrieve inventory as needed.
  • Preparing Shipments: Pack and label outgoing orders, and ensure all necessary documentation is complete.
  • Operating Equipment: Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment as needed.
  • Maintaining Records: Accurately record all shipments, inventory, and other relevant data.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Experience an asset.
  • Skills: Forklift Operator Certification, Database software, MS Windows, Valid driver's licence, Own vehicle.
Work Environment:

Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, attention to detail, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods.
