Job Overview

This full-time position involves working as an essential member of our clinical team at CFB Cold Lake, providing comprehensive primary health care services to Canadian Armed Forces members.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough health assessments using sound clinical judgment and diagnostic skills.
  • Work autonomously and be accountable for actions while practicing.
  • Collaborate with physicians or other health professionals when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate medical employment limitation records in accordance with Surgeon General's guidelines.
  • Prescribe medications and order diagnostics as per RN Extended Class standards.
  • Implement strategies to promote health and prevent illness among individuals, families, or groups.
  • Care for Members with stable chronic illnesses through established referral processes.
  • Refer patients to other providers or programs based on their needs.
Requirements
  • Licensed with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta.
  • Basic Life Support for Health Providers certification.
Additional Considerations
  • You must obtain Government Security Clearance at the Reliability level.
