About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fleet Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Dufferin Concrete - A CRH Company. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective maintenance of our fleet of vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the maintenance activities of our fleet, ensuring maximum availability and minimizing downtime.
  • Develop and implement effective preventative and corrective maintenance programs to optimize fleet performance.
  • Ensure compliance with environmental and health and safety regulations and standards.
  • Lead and motivate a team of maintenance personnel, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the skills and resources needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including dispatch and operations, to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Monitor and control maintenance costs, ensuring they are within budget and aligned with business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of maintenance services.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role in a maintenance or operations environment.
  • Proven track record of success in managing and maintaining a fleet of vehicles.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions quickly.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
