About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Vehicle Equipment Assembler to join our team at Sterling Fleet Outfitters. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for assembling and customizing vehicle equipment to meet the needs of our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble partitions, shelving, ladder racks, and custom cabinets/draw systems for commercial vehicles
  • Mount components for commercial vehicles
  • Interpret and follow detailed assembly instructions
  • Customize various panels to fit design specifications
  • Operate shear, brake, saws, and basic hand tools
Requirements
  • Previous vehicle accessories assembly experience preferred, but willing to train the right candidate
  • Proven mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Physically fit and able to lift, bend, and stand for a complete shift
  • Class 5 driver's license
  • Able to drive a forklift
  • Capable of lifting 50lb
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with installing 12v electrical lighting/inverters/backup alarms and 12v electrical problem-solving
Work Environment

Our work environment is clean, positive, and safe. We are an innovative and fast-paced vehicle equipment installer with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Compensation and Benefits
  • Hours of work: 7:00 am — 3:30 pm, Monday – Friday
  • Wage: Dependent upon experience, with a 3-month review. $20 - $27
