Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned Enterprise Cloud Consultant Lead to join our team and drive innovation across three critical domains: Platform, Workloads, and Data. Our mission is to empower organizations worldwide by providing cutting-edge consulting and services.

About the Role

As a Global Team of Cloud Specialists, we are laser-focused on solving complex challenges, optimizing cloud infrastructure, and delivering tangible business outcomes. This role involves working closely with technical leads and client teams to fully demonstrate the benefits of cloud technology.

Main Responsibilities

  • Building and introducing clients to automated delivery pipelines (CI/CD)
  • Defining and implementing cloud-based solutions in line with industry best practices and enterprise architecture guidelines
  • Solving issues in test and/or production environments, identifying root causes, and suggesting solutions
  • Presenting case studies and cloud solutions at meetups, conferences, and technology events
  • Supporting pre-sales activities
  • Assisting with the productization of internal software products

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A proven track record of enterprise IT consulting; experience in financial services is highly regarded
  • Extensive experience in large-scale, secure, and high-availability solutions in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
  • Strong general programming experience in Python, Go, or Java to write automation scripts
  • Good understanding of containerization technologies such as Kubernetes or Docker
  • Strong understanding of GCP concepts such as IAM, networking (shared VPC's), running VM based workloads and container (GKE) based workloads
  • Strong understanding of Anthos Service Mesh
  • An accomplished understanding of security principles and other associated controls and features in GCP
  • Technical writing, experience in preparing and presenting technical material to a variety of audiences
  • Extensive experience in working in, and with, Agile delivery teams
  • Professional and/or Specialty level GCP certifications
  • Preferably experience with tools such as Puppet, Chef, or Ansible
