About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Public Relations Coordinator to join our team at Swift Connect INC. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for managing our organization's reputation and maintaining positive relationships with the media, stakeholders, and the public.

Key Responsibilities
  • Media Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for media inquiries, responding to written and oral requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Communications Materials: Assist in the preparation of brochures, reports, newsletters, and other marketing materials to promote our organization's services and initiatives.
  • Event Planning: Coordinate special publicity events and promotions to raise awareness about our organization and its mission.
  • Research and Analysis: Conduct public opinion and attitude surveys to inform our communications strategy and make data-driven decisions.
  • Content Creation: Gather, research, and prepare communications materials, including press releases, media advisories, and other content to support our organization's goals.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Initiate and maintain contact with the media, stakeholders, and other external partners to build and maintain relationships.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Skills: Excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Travel and Transportation: Willing to travel regularly, valid driver's license, and own vehicle.
  • Work Conditions: Overtime required, flexible work schedule, and ability to work in a team environment.
