Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled GCP Cloud Engineer to join our team at Net2Source Inc. As a GCP Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Kubernetes clusters on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement scalable and secure Kubernetes clusters on GCP.
  • Manage and maintain existing Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement cloud-native applications.
  • Develop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform and other tools.
  • Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using tools like GitOps.
  • Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest GCP and Kubernetes technologies and best practices.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in designing and implementing Kubernetes clusters on GCP.
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes architecture, concepts, and components.
  • Experience with IaC and CI/CD tools like Terraform, helm chart, and GitOps.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Python or Bash.
  • Experience with containerization technologies like Docker.
  • Good knowledge of Linux.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • CKA/CKS certification or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with other cloud platforms like AWS or Azure.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus and Grafana.
  • Contributions to open-source Kubernetes projects.
