About the Opportunity

Dalhousie University and Nova Scotia Health invite applications for a full-time academic family physician. The position offers exciting opportunities for professional development within academic family medicine in a dynamic department with over 800 community-based family physicians.

The successful candidate will provide ambulatory, team-based, and comprehensive academic family medicine care, including clinical supervision of medical learners. They will also be involved in training and evaluating family medicine residents and medical students while contributing to the academic development and administration of the Dalhousie University Department of Family Medicine.

Favourable consideration will be given to applicants with evidence of advanced academic competencies such as relevant certificates or postgraduate degrees. Academic rank and remuneration will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
