**Job Title:** Assistant Head of Construction

**Job Summary:** We are seeking an experienced professional to join our team as an Assistant Head of Construction. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the operation of the Scenic construction Department and building scenic elements as assigned by the Head of Construction.

**Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the operation of the Scenic construction Department.
  • Build scenic elements as assigned by the Head of Construction.
  • Produce construction drawings as assigned and communicate with scenic carpenters to facilitate the construction of scenic elements.
  • Assist with the scheduling of personnel and transportation of Scenic elements as assigned by the Head of Construction.
  • Assist in the cleanliness of the scene shop and assembly area as assigned by the Head of Construction.

**Requirements:**

  • 3-year community college diploma in Technical Theatre Production.
  • 3-4 years related work experience.
  • A full “G” driver’s license.
  • Clean driving record and the ability to be insured on a Drayton Entertainment vehicle.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20kg.

**Working Conditions:**

  • Work at various venues, including overnight stays.
  • Be part of a dynamic team that produces high-quality live productions.
