Job Title: Long Haul Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled Long Haul Truck Driver to join our team at Super Bee Transport Ltd. As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations, working as part of a two-person team or convoy.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials.
  • Oversee the condition of the vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment.
  • Perform brake adjustments, emergency roadside repairs, pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections, and oversee all aspects of the vehicle.
  • Perform preventive maintenance and receive and relay information to central dispatch.
  • Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption.
  • Tarping and ensuring the safety and security of cargo.
Requirements:
  • Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi-trailer trucks).
  • Accident or incident reports, bill of lading, driver logbook, inspection report, and trip reports.
  • Tractor-trailer B train.
  • Citizens band (CB) radio and operate GPS and other navigation equipment.
  • Long-haul experience.
  • Driver's validity licence check and driving record check (abstract).
  • Drive manual transmission vehicle, travel expenses paid by employer, and willing to travel overnight.
Work Environment:

As a Long Haul Truck Driver, you will be working on the road, traveling to various locations, and working as part of a team. You will be required to handle heavy loads, work in a physically demanding environment, and perform repetitive tasks.
