About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our dynamic team in the Critical Care Unit at North York General Hospital. This is a part-time temporary position (12 months) with 8 hours shifts, day shifts, including weekends.

Job Description

As a Physiotherapist, you will be responsible for providing patient care following current accepted standards of practice and principles of physiotherapy. You will assess and analyze clinical findings to develop treatment plans appropriate for patients' conditions and provide education programs for hospital staff and groups in the community.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide patient care in accordance with established standards and protocols.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure seamless care delivery.
  • Conduct educational sessions for staff and community groups.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have a degree in Physiotherapy from a recognized academic institution and be a registered member in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario (CPO). Acute care experience, including respiratory conditions, is required. Bilingualism in French/English is an asset.

Estimated Salary Range

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
