Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Building Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and perform on-site testing for new construction and existing buildings, including window, guard rail systems, and membrane testing.
  • Stay up-to-date with testing standards and procedures, and provide assistance to the team in preparing test reports.
  • Maintain records of testing equipment inventory, coordinate scheduled maintenance and calibration as required.
  • Report daily updates on the ongoing testing schedule for all projects.
  • Gather, analyze, and report meaningful performance data for various investigations.
  • Drive to various site locations with a company vehicle.
  • Actively participate and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Assist the concrete lab with reporting or supplemental site testing and reviews as may be required.
Requirements
  • Completion of post-secondary education in a related field, such as Building/Construction Technology or a construction-related discipline.
  • Experience with field or lab testing of window and railing systems would be considered an asset.
  • Health & Safety training requirements in construction projects would be considered an asset.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Possession of a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle with valid registration and insurance.
  • Ability to lift/move heavy equipment.
  • Ability to work independently without supervision.
