About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transportation Logistics Coordinator to join our team at Yamato Transport U.S.A., Inc. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of our organization, ensuring seamless transportation and delivery of goods.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Logistics Management: Oversee the operational logistics of the organization, ensuring timely and efficient transportation and delivery of goods.
  • Logistics Planning and Organization: Plan and organize operational logistics, including coordinating with suppliers, carriers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit reports on logistics operations, including metrics on efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Workforce Management: Monitor personnel workloads and locations, ensuring optimal resource allocation and minimizing downtime.
  • Problem-Solving and Technical Advice: Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Work Coordination and Training: Coordinate, assign, and review work, as well as train other workers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Keep track of shipments and inventory levels, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in logistics or a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
  • Work Schedule: 30 to 40 hours per week.
