Home Care Assistant

Tamou is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Assistant to join our team in a live-in caregiver position. The successful candidate will provide personalized care and support to individuals in need, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being.
Responsibilities
- Administer medications as prescribed by a healthcare professional.
- Assist with bathing, grooming, and personal hygiene.
- Encourage regular exercise, such as walking, to promote physical and mental well-being.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals, taking into account dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals in need.
- Assist with daily tasks, such as laundry and meal preparation.
Requirements
- CPR certification and Personal Support Worker certification.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays.
