At HealthCareCAN, we are seeking an exceptional President and CEO to lead our organization at a pivotal time in the healthcare sector. As a visionary leader with senior executive experience, you will be responsible for advocating for the Canadian healthcare sector, promoting positive relationships with affiliated organizations, and leading the organization within Board-established parameters.
The ideal candidate will have expert leadership ability, advanced strategic planning expertise, and deep knowledge of the healthcare sector. Bilingual proficiency in English and French is preferred, as well as outstanding communication and interpersonal skills. The role demands high visibility to act as the face and voice of HealthCareCAN, requiring knowledge of policy development and government processes, as well as experience in board governance and stewardship.
We estimate the salary for this position to be between $180,000 and $250,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. If you are a results-driven leader with a passion for improving healthcare outcomes, we encourage you to apply for this exceptional opportunity.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:
- Providing effective governance support to the Board and its Committees
- Developing and implementing annual operating forecasts
- Keeping the Board informed of significant matters
- Addressing resource challenges and identifying principal risks to the organization
- Developing and maintaining an effective organizational structure
