About the Role

A&W is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Restaurant Operations Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Restaurant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Restaurant Manager in achieving our business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Restaurant Manager in achieving business objectives, including guest service, operating standards, marketing, and financial results.
  • Develop and lead a high-performing restaurant team by providing coaching, training, and development opportunities to ensure excellent guest service and operational excellence.
  • Manage restaurant operations during your shift, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to develop and implement business plans, including marketing initiatives and financial strategies.
  • Monitor and analyze financial performance to identify areas for improvement and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including suppliers, health and safety officials, and local authorities.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in a restaurant management role, preferably with A&W.
  • Proven track record of achieving business objectives and leading high-performing teams.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze financial data and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing excellent guest service and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
