Job Title: Early Childhood Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Early Childhood Assistant to join our team at Little Champs Day Care Centre Inc.

Job Summary:

The Early Childhood Assistant will work under the supervision of our experienced early childhood educators to provide high-quality care and education to our young children. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment that promotes the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of our children.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers
  • Engage children in activities through storytelling, teaching songs, and preparing crafts
  • Assist early childhood educators in carrying out programs that promote child development
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Assist in keeping records
  • Prepare snacks and arrange rooms or furniture for lunch and rest periods
  • Submit written observations on children to early childhood educators or supervisors
  • Attend staff meetings to discuss progress and problems of children
