Job Summary

Annie Corrales is seeking a reliable and compassionate In-Home Support Specialist to provide exceptional care to our clients in their homes. This temporary position requires a high level of discretion, flexibility, and attention to detail.

About the Role

As an In-Home Support Specialist, you will be responsible for assisting clients with daily living tasks, including personal hygiene, bathing, dressing, and grooming. You will also assist with meal preparation, light housekeeping, and laundry.

Your duties will include:

  • Assisting clients with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene
  • Feeding or assisting in feeding
  • Laundering clothing and household linens
  • Mending clothing and linens
  • Performing light housekeeping and cleaning duties
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A valid criminal record check
Working Conditions

This is a temporary position working in a client's home. You will be required to work a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $18-$22 CAD per hour, depending on experience. Other benefits may include health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional development.
