Landscape Technician Job Description

At Webber, we're seeking a skilled Landscape Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the landscapes of our clients. The primary duties and responsibilities of this role include:

  • Performing basic landscape maintenance such as operating and maintaining ride-on mowers and tractor mower equipment, line trimming, and pruning, as needed.
  • Controlling litter in designated areas.
  • Maintaining and repairing mowing equipment and attachments.
  • Performing basic small gas tool maintenance, including replacing air filters, blades, and cleaning carburetors.


Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Able to read and understand plans, material lists, and guidelines, and meet timelines.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving skills.


Education and Experience

The successful candidate will have a high school diploma or equivalent. A valid G Driver's license is preferred but not required for the winter contract. A good driving record is required to drive a company vehicle. A minimum of one year of related experience is preferred but not necessary.

Work Conditions/Physical Demands

The Landscape Technician will be required to work outdoors in various weather conditions and be able to lift and/or move up to 60 pounds. They will also be required to be available for emergency response rotations as needed for overtime, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
