About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Developer to join our team as an API Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our complex large-scale customer-facing platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Analyze data to identify root causes of production issues and suggest improvements to supported applications and systems.
  2. Translate technical ideas into business realities and map technology to business problems.
  3. Collaborate with teams to drive high performance and quality craftsmanship that delights users.
Requirements
  1. 10+ years of experience in software development and supporting complex large-scale customer-facing platforms.
  2. 5+ years of experience as a Java developer with a preference for Java 17/Springboot3.
  3. 5+ years of experience in building public and internal REST APIs.
  4. 2+ years' experience with APM tools, such as Dynatrace, Splunk, etc.
  5. 5+ years' combined experience using Jira, Confluence, Jenkins, and Bitbucket.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  1. FI / Digital banking experience is preferred but not required.
  2. Experience in an Agile environment.
  3. Proficiency in working on Mac laptops.
Soft Skills
  1. Excellent English verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  2. Ability to distil technical details into simple terms and influence decision-making across stakeholders.
Education

Bachelors or equivalent in computer science or related field is preferred.
