The Provost and Vice President of Academic Affairs is a key leadership position at Regent College, responsible for overseeing the academic programs and services that support the college's mission and vision. This role requires a strategic thinker who can lead and manage a team of academic professionals, develop and implement academic policies, and foster a culture of excellence and innovation in teaching and learning.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement academic policies and procedures that align with the college's mission and vision
  • Lead and manage a team of academic professionals, including deans, department chairs, and faculty members
  • Oversee the development and implementation of academic programs, including curriculum design, course scheduling, and program evaluation
  • Foster a culture of excellence and innovation in teaching and learning, including the development of faculty professional development programs
  • Represent the college in academic and professional circles, including partnerships with other institutions and organizations
Requirements
  • Master's degree or higher in a relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience in academic leadership, including experience in curriculum development, program evaluation, and faculty management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with faculty, staff, and students
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, including the ability to delegate tasks and responsibilities
