Job Overview:

UPS seeks a skilled Customs Compliance Specialist to join its team. The successful candidate will design and implement effective instructional strategies, identify critical skill gaps, and develop targeted learning interventions to bridge them.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement a comprehensive communication plan involving customs compliance.
  • Create engaging webinars for UPS customers on customs-related topics.
  • Analyze and interpret reports from the CBSA Assessment and Revenue Management (CARM) system.
  • Provide expert guidance to customers on various CBSA initiatives.
  • Conduct thorough reviews and assessments of customs penalties and compliance monitoring cases.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of CBSA regulations.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Able to effectively communicate complex information to senior leaders.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and maintain a positive work environment.
  • CCS certification is highly valued.
