We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our engineering team in delivering complex projects from inception to completion.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Coordinating and controlling all stages of project engineering for assigned projects or project packages.
- Providing coordination and assistance in the preparation of preliminary project studies and reports.
- Monitoring and evaluating cost and schedule changes.
- Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Preparing and coordinating project specifications, requisitions, and contract administration.
- Coordinating meetings with design, suppliers, construction, and operations teams.
- Maintaining close liaison with field construction and operation on matters involving design, schedules, costing, and other related issues.
- Initiating and coordinating supporting services to other departments and external organizations.
- Providing regular reports to management on project progress and performance.
- Reviewing and analyzing cost variance reports and providing recommendations for corrective action.
- Executing other project management functions as required by corporate policies and procedures.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A strong background in engineering and project management.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in project management software and tools.
- Knowledge of corporate policies and procedures.
The successful candidate will have:
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in project management.
- Experience in a related industry, such as electrical power generation.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
