About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cement Mason to join our team at DARI CONSTRUCTION LTD. as a Construction Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of concrete finishes on our construction projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Concrete Finishing: Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth and even finish.
  • Compaction and Leveling: Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification.
  • Surface Preparation: Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
  • Curing and Protection: Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces and waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Provide diversity and cross-cultural trainings to create a welcoming work environment for newcomers and/or refugees.
  • Support for Indigenous People: Provide cultural competency training and/or awareness training to all employees to create a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.
  • Employment Details: This is a permanent position with a standard full-time schedule of 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Language of Work: English.
