The Sales Merchandiser plays a crucial role in the success of Frito Lay Canada by providing exceptional customer service to various large and small accounts, such as supermarkets and variety stores. This includes merchandising products, freshness rotation, display set up and maintenance, storage room organization and movement of product from storage to the sales floor.
Key Responsibilities- Merchandise store shelving, racks and displays with PepsiCo products
- Utilize Point-of-Sale materials to effectively promote products
- Ensure back-room stock is organized and shelving cleanliness is maintained
- Provide excellent service to assigned accounts; create and maintain goodwill with all customers
- Perform all assigned duties in a safe and productive manner
This is a part-time seasonal position that requires working weekends and statutory holidays. The Sales Merchandiser will be required to work independently with minimal supervision.
Requirements- Valid driver's license, clean driving record and a reliable vehicle
- Merchandising or retail customer service experience is an asset
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to perform frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, squatting, reaching over shoulder
- Able to lift 50 plus pounds and push or pull up to 200 pounds using a pallet jack
